BBQ at Ninong JB's

Today was a perfect day for a BBQ! I'm glad I was able to sample some of the food! This is the only picture we took today... It's with Uncle JM and Auntie Reyna is behind me!

Oh my Gas! (in a filipino accent)

Check out the gas prices on Sunday, June 8 in San Mateo!

One day I'll look back at this and say "I remember when gas was only 5.23 a gallon!"

Hanging out with the Vargas'

On Friday night, we toured Daddy's fave store: Babies R Us... It was Ninong Ray and Auntie Chee-deh's first time there... lots of stuff to see! Daddy spent most of the time walking around the store with us! Usually we stay in the glider section while Mommy does all the shopping!

Daddy was a pro, explaining how things work to the soon-to-be parents... but Ninong Ray has been doing a lot of research already, how very Ninong Ray of him!

Thursday with Grandma

I spent the afternoon with Grandma because Mommy had a bunch of errands to run... we had lots of fun and I got to sit at the Mah-Jong table in my high chair... I even said "Pong"!

Poor Addi!

I got a sticker for having my blood drawn, but check out the bandage on my arm... boo boo! and I have a tazmanian devil band-aid on my thigh for my shots...

I took it like a champ!

My One Year Checkup!

Here I am waiting for the doctor to check me out... I like to pretend I'm talking on the phone!

I looked at Mommy for a second!

Hey! Give me my phone back, Dada!

We both read with our mouths open!

On June 4, I had my one year checkup... a little late, I know but we needed to work around conflicting schedules!

I am now 18 lbs and 12 ounces... I gained a little bit of weight since last time... No need to worry, I've just been sooo active lately that I've been burning all those calories!

I'm 30 inches long now. I'm in the 75th percentile - I don't know why LOL's always think I'm "tiny"?!?! Maybe because they can't see very well!

I had 2 shots and we had to get blood drawn too! When we went to the clinic to get blood drawn, the male nurse must have scared me because I started to wail as soon as I saw him! I calmed down right before he stuck the needle in my arm and I didn't even notice that he put it in! According to Mommy's theory, he must be evil... (Mommy thinks that only evil people make me cry)

Sushi Avenue

We ordered so much sushi, they had to put it on this cool boat tray!

Oops! I was wearing my shoes in the NO SHOES area... but nobody stopped me!
The table was just the right size!

On Tuesday, we went to dinner with Uncle Josh and Auntie Christina at one of our favourite spots in San Leandro - Sushi Avenue.... I even got my own plastic cup and plate set! I loved eating the tofu from Mama's miso soup and I had some veggies and rice too!

Baker St. Bistro

We welcomed back the boys from Montreal at a French Bistro... of course they had to ask the waiter if they served "Poutine"... the waiter looked at Ninong Ray and said "No, that's Canadian"!

If you're ever in the City and in the mood for the BEST FRENCH TOAST EVER! go and check out Baker St. Bistro... tell them I sent you ;)
*nothing will actually happen though*
