Ison's birthday party!

I didn't get to celebrate Ison's birthday with him last year because we were still at the hospital (ehem... I was being born!) and this year we got to celebrate with him twice!

We celebrated Ison's birthday party at Tumble and Teas. Auntie La rented the whole place out...It's a good thing she did because there were A lot of kids!

I'm still at a pretty self-centered age... Although I'm great with people, I'd much rather play on my own...

There were sooo many things to play with in the play area, but the one thing I kept gravitating towards was this magazine. Mommy had to read it to me!

At the San Leandro Cherry Festival

On Saturday, Uncle Josh and Auntie Christina came with Mommy & me to the San Leandro Cherry Festival... Mommy and I would have been there even if we didn't leave our house! It's cool to have such a great festival on our street!

We didn't expect a lot of people to be there, but the streets were crowded! The BART parking lot looked like it does on weekdays!

Here's the main stage... the 'dults got to eat carny food and listen to Native Elements.

Mommy does a decent job of holding me and taking my picture (while trying not to be in the picture with her)

My cousin Ison turned 2 on Thursday!

Mommy and I got to celebrate with him because we had to represent Daddy (because Daddy is Ison's Ninong).

We shared lots of hugs and kisses, as usual!

My fridge DJ

One of my cool new presents is my fridge DJ... I can play with it while Mommy's in the kitchen (it distracts her from emptying her instruction manuals drawer & plastic containers cupboard)
I like to press the buttons to change the songs and I like to "booty shake" to the music!

But...

I figured out how to take it down

I tried to sneak in Dada's luggage so he could take me with him to Montreal... I don't think we could get past security!

Addi does "New Kids"

From Mommy:

Yes, I know... I'm bad... just wanted to jump on the Reunited New Kids bandwagon and teach Addi a little something I loved to do when I was a girl!

Background: I recorded the New Kids reunited performance on the Today show a while back and every now and then I'll watch it (ok... like almost everyday). It's become Addi's fave thing... she gets really excited to hear their performance (probably because I'm dancing her around the living room)... one time I played it and she started doing the Hanging Tough wave and saying "OHHHHHHH" while doing it... cute, eh?

Here she is in action... she needs a little more coaxing when it's not Donny Wahlberg doing it... we tried to sneak in a few other tricks too... (I kinda sound like a drill sargeant making her do all these tricks... I'll ease up now!)

Mama's mother's day present

Mommy's mother's day present was a trip to Picture People for a family portrait...
We weren't allowed to take pictures in the studio, so here's a picture of Lola and me waiting for the pictures to be ready!

My first two-piece bikini

Mommy bought me my first two-piece bikini - totally against Daddy's will... but they decided together that I can only wear a two-piece until I'm 5... and that's it!

This is sooo embarrassing, Mama!
