4th in San Diego

Here are pictures from the 4th of July weekend in San Diego.
Mommy had to study, so she stayed behind... Daddy will have to post stories from this trip... (coming soon!)

Farewell Party for the Ignacio's

Mommy and Auntie Jo were lucky enough to share their pregnancies together - Amerie and I are only 2 days apart! They moved before we were born and now they're moving even farther away! I wish things were different and we lived closer together!

with our Mommies!

Trying to get all the kids together!

Finally

This is for those of you that didn't think Mommy would get her license before 30...

Ryan's Ride 2009

On June 28, Daddy and I headed over to Burlingame for Ryan's Ride, a Bike Race to raise money to fund cancer related programs. It's for pros and kids under 12... I think I'll do it next year!

Samantha's Birthday Party

A little small, don't you think?

I was in a silly mood and I wanted to try on this dress that's WAY too small for me... I wore it almost two years ago, and it still fits! haha, barely! We couldn't zip it up...

Decorating my apron

Ninang Trae bought me some aprons and fabric paint for my birthday and here I am trying it out! I loved squirting the paint out and getting it all over my apron. I also got paint all over my table and this shirt... it now looks like the shirt of an artiste! I love it!

Happy Father's Day 2009!

Father's Day 2009 - we made the trek up to Sacramento to celebrate Father's Day. It's always nice to see my cousins! Daddy wore his "Father's Day" shirt, which he vowed to wear every Father's Day even if it no longer fits him!

Our standard pictures:

cheeeeeeeeeeeesin!

Going to School!

I started going to "school" in June. I was excited to meet my teachers and new friends. Mommy and Daddy were worried about leaving me on my first day, but I didn't even cry! It wasn't until the next day that I realized what was actually going on here and I cried... and the next day I cried... eventually I stopped crying at drop off and I enjoyed myself! I always talked about my friends and teachers, and everyday I come home with a new art project. This school thing isn't too bad!

My new lunch bag! I picked it out myself!

Eating cereal at school...

I'm making an octopus!

Welcome Bautista's and Flores'!

It was nice to finally welcome the Cruzada-Flores-Bautista's over to this side of the border! We didn't know, but it was supposed to be a surprise party... the surprise wasn't totally given away, but enough was said for Auntie Renn to expect to see cousins there!

Where's Addi?

Where's Addi?

Here I am!
... and pants-less!

*The first thing Addi does when she gets home is she takes of her shoes. Then her socks... then off comes the pants! And she doesn't only do this at home... she'll do it wherever she's comfortable!

Super Why at Toys R Us

I was so excited to hear that there would be a Super Why event at Toys R Us! Mommy had a big test to study for, so Daddy took me there. It's a good thing he watches Super Why with me because he was able to tell the staff all about Super Why and correct all the mistakes they were making! lol!

Taking a walk in someone else's shoes!

Thank goodness it was just a phase! I used to walk around in Mommy and Daddy's shoes all the time (in the summertime)... It's actually November now and I prefer my own shoes - especially if they are pink and sparkly!

The best thing about summer...

... is cherry popsicles!

Peek A Boo!

San Leandro Cherry Festival

The Vargas' joined us at the San Leandro Cherry Festival this year. It's usually held at the end of May - around the time of my birthday! I got to eat some cherries and listen to funky music!

I wore my cherry shirt!

I kept losing balloons... I think this is my 3rd one.

Bubbles!

One of my fave things to do this summer was playing with my bubble gun!

Basketball/Cheerleader party!

Ison and I celebrated our birthdays together at a Basketball player/Cheerleader party! It was such a fun day - here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
