Christmas get-together at Ninong JB's

Ninong JB was kind enough to (unknowingly) host a Christmas get-together at his house... Mommy called him early in the morning to tell him that we would be coming over, and invited Ninong Ray, Auntie Chee-deh and Uncle RJ to come over too... haha!

I definitely know how to rip through wrapping paper now!
(notice the shade of bright red on Ninong's face!)

books!

Just my size!
I can easily flip through them!

I can make a mess super fast!

Thanks for the sweater, Uncle RJ!

After this picture, I went into the bedroom to wake up Daddy with my beautiful music!

Secret Santa 2008

This year, the adults decided to have a Secret Santa Gift Exchange instead of the usual "Everybody gets Everybody something"...

We only had to draw names once! But notice the 3 complete circles...

Next year is the Ugly Sweater Christmas party!

It's Christmas time already!
This is my second Christmas, but really the first time I know what's going on... I've been a really good girl this year and I hope Santa knows it!
I can't wait to open my own presents ~ I don't need Mommy or Daddy's help anymore!

Merry Christmas everybody!

Christmas Eve 2008 - I'm 19 months old!

Grandma's Blackforest cake - from scratch!

After dinner, Grandma painted my nails Christmas red.
Here I am drying off my nails...

Here are my lovely nails... the first time they've ever been painted!
Notice the nail polish on my upper lip from "blowing" on my nails!

I'm 19 months old! Closer to two than one!

Visiting Santa

We had to wait until the last minute to see Santa (December 22) because I was out of commission for two weeks!

It's really weird nowadays, you're not allowed to take a picture of Santa with your camera. You have to stand in a long line (we were lucky to be 2nd in line) and you can only take a picture with THEIR camera and you have to purchase a picture package (the smallest one, 2 5x7's for $16.99) in order to even sit on Santa's lap... In the old days, when Mommy was a kid, children were allowed to see Santa without buying a package. Is it like this in Canada too, or is it just the Bay Area Santas?

So.... here are some pictures of me and Daddy... you just have to BELIEVE that I saw Santa...

Daddy and me visiting Santa in San Francisco Westfield Mall.

I got a little bear for visiting Santa!
(and buying the $40.00 package!)

Daddy's Holiday Party

Due to major budget cuts this year (Is anybody out there NOT going through budget cuts?!?), Daddy's company decided to forgo the big Christmas party. One of Daddy's co-workers was gracious enough to host a pot-luck Holiday party at his house. There were tons of delicious food (amazing kabobs, yummy sushi and tons of dynamite desserts!). We witnessed "expert" rock band rock stars, a first for Mommy and me - we usually only play with Mediums and the occasional Hard. Mommy was really reluctant to play (following an expert?!?, no thank you.) until some beginners wanted to try (ya... that's more my styl-o)

There were tons of kids for me to play with, but I still wasn't my usual genki self, still recovering... and embarrassed that I had to wear my jacket and hat while the other kids got to run around without their winter gear!

Here I am on a pogo ball!

(sorry - I didn't take any pics with the camera, this was with James' iPhone)

snnnnnnnnnore!

I get it from my Daddy!

Mommy was trying to get the both of us snoring, but you can only hear me - Daddy snores exactly twice as slow, so you can only hear him on every other snore.

My kitchen routine

This is usually what I like to do in the kitchen... dance to my fridge DJ and climb on the stove!

Watching Grandma's concert

We didn't think we would make it to the concert, but I was feeling a little better and I actually ate something on this day! I'm glad I was able to see Grandma sing!

(sorry!) We couldn't get a clear picture of Grandma because of the lighting and where we were sitting...

Here I am watching Grandma sing.

Hey! Pay attention to the concert!
Stop taking pictures of me!
