Try to get me tired!

Mommy and Daddy try to get me tired before bedtime...

Actually, I just wouldn't come in the door and I kept running around! Mommy grabbed the camera and decided this was a photo-op.

WARNING: THERE IS A LOT OF SCREAMING IN THESE VIDEOS. PLEASE ADJUST THE VOLUME ACCORDINGLY!

Good Luck Baby-proofing!

I'll still try to get to the good stuff under the sink!
Here I am grabbing a bottle of Windex... It's a good thing I can't pull it out completely! But I'll definitely try (and try and try again!)

Nice try, Mommy

What's going on?

Something feels different...

I'll cheese for you right before I pull them off!

Mommy tries to put clips in my hair... it's took me a minute to pull them both out of my hair!

Once I started walking...

I wouldn't stop!

I missed a few weeks of story time (because of a doctor's appointment and Mommy's south bay excursion)... so I forgot how to sit still! Mommy spent 25 minutes of storytime (which is 30 minutes) chasing me around. And when I wasn't running around, I was trying my hardest to get out of Mommy's lap! I tried to make other kids laugh and I was very verbal during story time - the story time lady couldn't help but laugh at my comments! I also tried to get other kids to run around with me (Oh boy... Is she going to be THAT kid in the future?!?) I tried to kiss a boy, but he backed away from me. When it was time to play, I actually put TWO pieces in a puzzle (an oval and a diamond!) and then I got a hold of my senses and thought "WHAT AM I DOING?!?", so I turned it upside down and spread the pieces around, just like I do at home! Then I got up and refused to sit and play with any toy or anyone and ran around the room while Mommy chased me!

Good times, good times...

***nb when I say "ran" I mean walked quickly... I still haven't mastered running yet - I trip and fall if I try! But I'm determined!

Watching my video

Mommy let me watch my peas and corn video and I loved watching myself! While I was watching my video, I would try to copy the noises I was making and I cracked myself up!

Here are some of my expressions:

I'm watching my video with intensity...

Haha! that was kinda funny!

What am I doing?!?

LOL! ROFL!

That was a great video, Mommy... Let's watch it again!

and we watched it over and over again until I didn't find it funny anymore! (3 times)

I'm 13 months old!

On June 24, I turned 13 months old!

There was no cake this time, I guess we stopped celebrating my month birthdays since I'm one now... Mommy still sang Happy Birthday to me and showered me with kisses (but she does that everyday, so what else is new?!?)

I love playing with the velcro on Mommy's camera case!

Open, Close, Open, Close... It was a really hot day, you know what that means!
hot day = no pants day...
really really hot day = no shirt day!
(Only for me though... not anyone else in the world!)

I wanted to show off my first pair of diamond earrings!
Thanks Ninang Joy!
(Mommy put them on while I was sleeping! They're screwbacks, she couldn't have done it while I was awake... I would have protested!)

My regular mug...

Mommy took this picture two seconds before I pulled 'em off!

Happy Birthday to me!

Daddy messes with me...

I got some food on my nose and daddy took a picture of me before cleaning it off!

Can you guess what it is?

Quick note from Mommy

I just realized that I posted up a bunch of pictures where Addison is kissing someone - it's a habit that James isn't very fond of....
She's a very affectionate little baby - she even makes a little noise when she wants to kiss me. She'll purse her lips together and hum while tilting her head up and leaning towards me!

I LOVE IT!!!
(those who know me , know that she gets her affectionate-ness from James!)

TJ's and Alex's Parties

On Saturday, we had a really busy day! Mommy and Daddy were very productive in the morning, getting organized with things and doing errands earlier in the day - instead of sleeping in, like we all usually like to do!

In the afternoon, we went to Uncle TJ's birthday party. I got to play with my cousin Mason for a little while.

Kissing cousins!
It looks like I'm being forced against my will to kiss him.
That's just how I look, I actually love to kiss people!
(Addi actually tried to kiss an old lady at Nine West today and the old lady leaned in also, but I snatched Addi up and told the old lady that Addi was sick - the old lady said "It's ok", and I think she was still expecting a kiss from Addi... um. No. I just walked away!)

I'm kinda sleepy... can I lean on you for a minute?

We left Uncle TJ's party to go to Auntie Alex's party. I got to see my cousins Isaac and Emily. I don't have any pictures with them, but I have a picture of this toy that I was "pushing" Isaac on.

Isaac would push himself off the ground while Addi held on to the back of the car. He would walk about 3 paces ahead of her, turn his head around, wait for her to catch up to him and then take off again. Addi didn't care, she thought it was a game. When it was Addi's turn to ride, Isaac walked away....

Hot Day at Bayfair!

It's been hot this week!

Mommy decided that we should spend the hottest day of this week, which also coincided with water shut off day, out of the house, since we got rid of the air conditioner! We did what every other Mother and Child would do...we went to the mall! Mommy had to do a few errands there anyways, but we spent a lot of time at the Children's play area. The kids play area was very crowded today... I think a lot of people had the same idea!

Grandma Lynn called Mommy and guess what? We were all at the same place at the same time! We spent the rest of the afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa at the mall. Later, Grandma Babes and even later, Daddy joined us for dinner at Chevy's... It was Daddy's first and last day taking public transportation... C'mon Daddy, give it another chance, don't you want to leave the planet a better place for me and my kids?

It was still hot when we left the mall... what did we do to keep cool, you ask? Watch and see!

Peas and Corn

and today, I will explain the pros and cons of peas and corn.

These two amazing vegetables always come out of Addi in whole pieces!

Fevahh!

I was sick this week.

I started with a fever on Tuesday and I was super cranky all day! I didn't want to eat very much and I didn't want to play either. I just wanted Mommy to hold me. So that's what Mommy did. She held me. All. Day. Long.

On Wednesday, Grandma watched me because Mommy had to do some errands in San Jose. I was grouchy and not my usually self. Still have a fever!

On Thursday, I was still sick and I still had a fever... what's going on here? Mommy held me all day long again, but this time she just watched me instead of doing things while holding me... It was nice to get all this attention, but I didn't like feeling yucky! My fever went down after I had, for lack of a better phrase, explosive diarrhea, but then it went up again later that night!

On Friday Morning, I didn't have a fever anymore...

Fast Forward to Saturday Morning - we find out the cause... another tooth cut through my gums! R2 on the top... this one's supposed to be the one to give you a fever!

James and I thought it could be anything - another reaction to the MMR shot, a stomach virus, ??? we didn't rule out teething because we knew it was going to happen eventually... but because we had such an easy time with the other 4 teeth, we didn't anticipate the fever! Especially since she wasn't touching her gums or drooling!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

On June 15, we went out for Father's Day Brunch at Horatio's with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Josh. It was a chilly day, so I had to wear a long sleeve shirt under my pretty dress. I fell asleep pretty easily at Church (always at the same time - right before Communion, so I'm always sleeping when I get blessed) and Uncle Josh met us at home.

I got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa because I didn't want to sit in the high chair!

Daddy and his Father's Day shirt. He says he's going to wear this shirt for Father's Day every year - even if it doesn't fit him anymore, he'll still wear it for Father's Day!

Daddy's being silly... he says this is the way Grandpa Trev wears his glasses.

Me with the Fathers!

Mommy and Uncle Josh.
This is Uncle Josh's Father's Day shirt. He has to wear it every Father's Day.
Because Daddy says so.

I start to get blotchy... (I throw up later today and two days later I get a fever... we still don't know why - it could be something I caught from someone or a reaction to the MMR shot)

Group picture!
Brunch was... ok.

Daddy and Grandpa Trev have matching shirts again!

Happy Belated Father's day to all the Fathers, Grandfathers, Step-Fathers, Fathers-to-be and Wannabe Fathers!

Happy Baby Shower Auntie Monica and Auntie Anna!

Grandma Rose and Grandma Lyn hosted a joint baby shower for Auntie Anna and Auntie Monica. I wasn't there for the beginning of the shower, but I was able to catch some of it at the end!

Yummy! Strawberry Ice Cream Cake!

All the ladies.

The guests of honour!
Auntie Monica, Ella and Auntie Anna and Baby E.
Can you guess what Auntie Anna is having? Mommy thinks she's having a ....

I'm going through a kissy phase. I love to kiss everybody!
I look like one of those little dutch kids, leaning in for one!

Kissing cousin Izzy on the lips.

Cousins Simon and Elijah.
Of course, we're not all looking at the same camera. Elijah's not even looking up!

Hugging cousin Isaac.

Isaac open-mouth kisses my cheek! Looks like he's biting into an apple!

Cousin Simon and I love to play together!

a la Grandpa Trevor!

Dominique's Baptism

On June 14, we were double booked!

Mommy went to Auntie Anna and Auntie Monica's Baby Shower while Daddy and I went to Dominique's Christening. I had a lot of fun playing with my Ninongs and Aunties... I even got to play with some people who are my size! Daddy was a little worried about me riding in the back by myself all the way to Foster City, so Ninong Ray and Auntie Chee-deh rode with us to keep us company. Thanks guys! Mommy was really proud of Daddy because he was able to take care of me by himself!

Auntie Nina and me.

I gave Ninong JB a big hug!

I don't know why we both have our mouths open like this... he must be teaching me something bad.

See ya later Alex, I have to go to another party!

My New Car Seat

I'm moving on up!

My new car seat is big and soft... I really love it! My feet don't hang off the edge like in my infant car seat!

I love to rest my head on the soft material!

It took a long time for Daddy to install it the first time - now he has the hang of it! I also "blessed" it on Father's Day... I threw up for the first time in six months and all over my new car seat! Mommy's reflex reaction was to catch it with her hand... but there was A LOT of vomit and she only got a little bit of it! YUCKY!!!! The things moms do! (if it was anyone else, I would have used my hand to plug my nose - not to catch the vomit! Actually, she threw up mostly on her clothes and on one side of the carseat... boy did it STINK! It may as well have been the entire carseat!)

Thanks for my carseat Ninong Ray and Auntie Chee-deh! I'll get lots of good use out of it for the next 5 years!

Sushi Avenue with the Njissangs

We ended Tuesday night with dinner at Sushi Avenue... the staff are starting to recognize Mommy and me (we went there last week too)... they already know Daddy - probably because they remember him as the good-looking dark man who tries to speak Japanese everytime!

Swimming at Uncle Ivan's & Auntie Erica's

On Tuesday, Mommy and I went with Ate Aisley and Ison to Uncle Ivan's and Auntie Erica's place... what a great surprise! I got to go in the swimming pool with my cousins! Mommy just happened to have my bathing suit in my diaper bag so I got to go in the pool too! Mommy didn't have her suit, so we had to stay by the stairs...

I loved being in the water!
It's just like bathtime, but no water up my nose... yet!

I got to try Ison's floaty... I don't really know how I feel about this yet...

I'm floating farther and farther away from Mommy!

(all of these pics were taken with my camera phone... gotta love technology!)
