I love me some water!

Anytime I see water, I have to yell "Ah-Do"!

I'll always try to touch it, and sometimes I'll succeed!

I was getting pretty restless at lunch, so Mommy brought me outside to run off some steam... we found a fountain - and Mommy let me play with it! She didn't care that I totally soaked my clothes because I had rice all over my pants anyways!

I LOVE WATER!

HAHA! Daddy doesn't even know how soaked I am yet!

California Academy of Sciences

What a day! It was definitely an adventure!

We were on our way to the California Academy of Sciences, driving on the freeway and Daddy's Low Fuel alert goes off. No real problem, but a bit of a pain because we live super close to one of the cheapest gas stations in the Bay Area. We didn't want to get gas in the city, so we made it to Emeryville to gas up... oh no - Daddy forgot his wallet! AND oh no! Mommy changed purses, so she only had $17 in her wallet and no credit cards...

Should we gas up and go home?

Nah, we can manage with $12 if we put $5 in the tank....
Mommy and Daddy said they felt like they were in high school again!

We didn't eat lunch yet either... we'll figure it out later!

We made it to the Museum ! Daddy and I parked while Mommy stood in line... We waited for parking on the street, since we needed to spend our cash on food!

We started from the bottom floor - the Aquarium floor... my favourite!

Once inside, I kept repeating "fish fish fish fish" over and over again while I had a big, giddy grin on my face! I was soooo excited! Mommy and Daddy kept laughing with me because, as Grandpa says, I was like "a dog with two d*cks"

Some of the beautiful fish!

fish! fish! fish!

The albino alligator - some poor kid dropped his sippy cup in the alligator's lagoon... actually poor alligator, his water is now tainted with milk!

Hey lizzie!

I got to wear a seahorse smock!

There was a great little area for 1-5 year olds to explore!

I just loved walking (bouncing) on this bridge! I ran back and forth and back and forth...

Poo-Bah!

I love pretend kitchens!
Here I am pretending to wash my hands!

Beautiful day in GG park

After our trip to the zoo, we joined Ninong Ray, Auntie Chee-Deh and Xavier at Golden Gate park for some R & R.

We had a great time just chilling out on the grass and enjoying the nice weather... Uncle Josh kept me entertained by playing ball with me and pulling me down the little hill...

We decided to have seniors dinner (LOL! everyone was hungry at 5pm!) at Hotei, a yummy Japanese restaurant. I devoured my chicken katsu (minus the katsu breading) curry.

I passed out in the car on the way to Genki - I didn't even get a chance to taste the Crepe! (I wouldn't have been able to anyways... damn, these allergies!)

What a fun, exhausting day!

My first Zoo experience

Tita Christina and Uncle Josh wanted to visit the zoo on the last nice (hot) weekend of the year... We were initially going to go to the Oakland Zoo, but we decided to go to the San Francisco Zoo instead...

I guess it was such a hot day that most of the animals opted to stay in the shade and sleep to deal with the heat... I had a great time anyways! There were tons of people... I think everyone in the Bay Area had the same idea!

My family in front of the chimps...

Addi the peacock.
This Critter Quest goes until Sept. 31 - I guess that means it goes on forever, right?

Me in action

My "Ohng-Ko" and a "bahdt"
(My uncle and a bird)

I was supposed to take this picture by myself, but it's another family picture instead!
Mommy thought I wouldn't get on because I was afraid, but really it was because this bear was soooo hot! I didn't want to burn my legs!

This hippo was hot too, but it cooled down in the shade...
How disappointing! There was no hippo exhibit!

Daddy and me on the hippo!

One of the many sleeping animals at the zoo...

Where's the giraffe?

What a crazy upside down tree!

Playing ball with Uncle Josh and Tita Christina

It keeps getting away from me!

My 'ats

'ats = "hats"
(just like 'ugs = hugs)

These used to be Mommy's hats, but since they're too small for her now... they're all mine!

We're trying to find pictures of Mommy in these hats... they'll be scanned and posted soon!

My eighteen month Dr. Appt

My 18 month appointment went without a hitch! I'm hitting my developmental milestones (some of them a little early!) and I'm growing as I should.

There's a bit of confusion about my height - Mommy and Daddy think I wasn't measured properly at my last appointment, so we don't really know how tall I was at 15 months, but we know that I'm 32 inches now.

I lost a little weight - I'm 20 lbs and 11.5 ounces, but that's because I've amped up the cardio these few weeks in anticipation of my weigh-in.

I had 3 shots today, including the flu shot... so I'm all set for flu season! I can say ouch now, so I yelled it out once the needle touched my skin! OUCH!

Mocha

We discovered this awesome place called MOCHA - Museum of Children's Art... It was totally by accident and it came at a perfect time! Mommy and I needed to kill 4 hours while Daddy was in traffic court trying to fight a ticket...

MOCHA is AMAZING!
It was the first time I ever got to paint anything and I LOVED IT! I loved dipping my brush in the paint and whipping it across my white paper... I loved feeling the paint in my hands and washing it off later.... only to start the whole process again! We left with 4 out of 5 of my creations (we forgot one!)

Check me out: (Mommy forgot her camera, so these were all taken by Daddy's iPhone before he went to court!)

Bye bye McAker!

Ninong JB is moving, so we wanted to have one last hurrah at his place... we were going to have a BBQ, but it was raining soooooo hard that we canceled it. Instead, we had a last dinner at Santa... (YUM!)

heart!

lil X... Ain't he sweet!?

I can't wait til you're a little bigger so I can boss you around!
But not big enough to fight me back...

I try my hand at the drums...

Trick or Treat!

This year, I went trick or treating with my cousins in Newark. This was my first "walking" Halloween! I went trick or treating last year, but Mommy and Daddy pushed me around in my stroller - and we didn't really want to ask for candy (because... well, the only thing I could have at the time was milk!) Not to say that I could eat candy now... Guess you can say that Mommy and Daddy used my charm and good looks to score some free candy!

Me and my Ate ballerina and Ate flapper girl.

Look at us all dressed up!

Even Grover and Zoe came for a little while!

How appropriate!

Two stinkers!

Double fisted already!

I really got the hang of walking up to the door, knocking it by myself (after Mommy rang the doorbell), and opening my bag to say "Pweeeeeesh"... We didn't practice saying Trick or Treat until that day - I could repeat it, but I couldn't say it without being prompted!

The next wave of cousins group shot.

The stinker family!
