Our joint birthday party started with a trip to the Movie theatre. We got to watch UP! I sat through most of it, but I got a bit antsy towards the end and I wanted to walk around. It was great to watch it with my friends and cousins!

My favorite Uncle JoshWe made a trip to Habitot on Ison's birthday. It was a treat for us before the Mommy's had to run errands for our joint birthday party.
It was the perfect size for us (small) and just enough for us to do in a couple of hours. There was a waterplay area, an art studio, a "grocery store" and a farm. We pretty much ran around and did our own thing and met up at the end of it!

Where to start? Where to start?
Let's start with Mommy's cell phone being left in the cab after brunch - My pink shoes were in that bag as well... bye bye cellie and all her contact info!
It happens, right? Nobody could remember what the cab driver looked like let alone any of the contact information! Nothing we could do about that!
Got back to the hotel after some quick souvenir shopping. Our car was already there and the bellhops were loading our luggage. Since we've been dealing with the same trusted bell hops the entire trip, we didn't bother to check what they put in our car.
We didn't realize until we got to the airport that we had two luggages and a garment bag missing! We called the hotel and found out everything was there!!! One of the luggages had Mommy's laptop and the other carry-on was full of my extra clothes (I was wearing a tank and shorts), pillow, blanket, food and toys to keep me entertained and the most important thing - my diapers! We only had 4 diapers for an 8 hour trip and Mommy and Daddy were extra careful to use them sparingly!
Lucky for me, we did a little shopping at the airport Borders and picked up a few books for me to color in and keep me entertained. Mommy also had a piece of Banana bread from BabyCakes in her purse, so I could at least eat something on the plane!
The hotel sent our luggages back to us and we received EVERYTHING three days later... lesson learned!

On the day of my birthday, Mommy realized that we didn't have a cake for me! So that night, Mommy searched for a bakery online that could accommodate me... Lucky me! There was one less than a mile from our hotel!
The next morning, Mommy and I took a nice early morning walk to BabyCakes NYC... the place just for me!
I'm so excited! They even have pink cupcakes!!!

We need one of these in the BAY!Oooh! What luck! I got to spend my 2nd birthday at the BIG Toys R Us in Times Square! My stroller was finally assembled and off we went! It was a bit of a struggle getting in and out of cabs because we didn't know how to close or open the stroller - we had to stalk parents to close it for us (to get into the cab) and open it (when we got out of the cab)...
We finally made it to Times Square - of course it was total chaos, but I was still excited to get there...
I was sooo happy to be in Toys R Us, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face! Mommy and Daddy went back and forth about riding the giant Ferris Wheel, because of the SUPER long line... but we went on it because... well, it would be a regular trip to any old Toys R Us otherwise! Plus, we got free tickets because it was my birthday! I got this great crown (which I didn't really want to wear) and a balloon that said it was my birthday!
While we were standing in line, I was scoping out which car I wanted to ride, there were some really cool cars - a dora one, a barbie one, and a my little pony one... guess which one we got on... the boring fire engine, lol. I wanted to go on a toy car! In the end, it didn't really matter because I was on this cool Ferris Wheel!
We were really excited to see Super Why merchandise! We've never seen any toys until this point (as of 9/9/9, they're everywhere!) I made out with two action figures, Alpha Pig and Super Why, a couple of books and a huge smile.
We were going to take a picture with Geoffrey, the Toys R Us mascot, but he just scared me to shaking tears! I still talk about the scary giraffe to this day! The lady that was with him said that he always scares off little children and they should really make him smaller... well, do that then!
All in all, I had a great day at Toys R Us in Times Square!

We came back to our room to find a crib here! We didn't ask for a crib, we asked for a stroller!
It took them a really long time to put the stroller together, but I didn't care because I had this to jump on!
We joined the gang for brunch at... (I don't remember!). We enjoyed a nice walk from the hotel to the restaurant, passing by all kinds of inappropriate graff (click pic to read tag). It was such a nice hot day and a long enough stroll for me to pass out in the janky stroller (we borrowed it from the hotel).
It was another fantastic brunch, I hear! The adults thoroughly enjoyed all their meals in NYC... I missed out on Ninong JB feeding Xav... I can hear his biological clock ticking!
