'Til next time, Lola Syl!

The airport drop-off.... we didn't want any sad goodbyes, so we made it short and sweet!
...kisses in the car and Lola was off like a dirty shirt!

Before you leave Lola...

I guess it's a tradition now!
On the day that Lola Sylvia leaves, we take pictures on the loveseat!
This is Daddy's first time, so we made some changes for him!

Here I am with Lola Syl...
This is a new outfit she bought for me!

Here I am with Daddy and Lola Syl.
Mommy did a bad job with the flash in the mirror...
(it's hard to get Addison to laugh and take a picture at the same time!)

The three generations...

Our Family!
Flash in the mirror again! Whoops Lola made a mistake!

We wanted to get a little silly!

Down to my level...

Ready for Take-Off!

Here I am in my new High Chair!
Daddy says it looks like a rocket ship!

I'm all strapped in and ready to go!!!
The chair matches my car seat and my stroller!!!! You can't wear brown shoes with a gray purse, Mommy told Ninang Joy!

In case you're wondering, the green stuff is pureed Avocado... Mommy made it with her new blender!

Happy New Year!

I woke up crying my ears off on New Year's Eve day... we went to the doctor's to find out that I have a very mild ear infection... poor me! I've had the sniffles for almost a week and I guess my tiny Eustacian tubes couldn't take it anymore!

I was given Amoxicillin to make me feel better, but Mommy can't give it to me, since she's fatally allergic to the stuff... so Daddy and Lola have been giving me the yucky pink stuff - OH how I hate it! I've never pursed my lips harder! I don't like sweet things, and this stuff tastes like berries!

Anyways, I felt much better at night, so Mommy and Daddy decided it would be ok to go to a pajama party in Antioch for the New Year's countdown... here are some pictures to share with you!

This is me and my buddy Amerie... she's two days older than me and our mom's used to hang out all the time when they lived in San Leandro, but now they live in Antioch.
If they still lived in San Leandro, we'd probably be BFF's and hang out all the time!

We spent 5 minutes studying each other's faces and touching each other's hands...
then we started talking to each other in our secret languages...
We both confessed that we HATE PINK, but our parents continue to dress us in that god-awful colour!

Our Family photo.

I got to spend a little time in Amerie's bouncer.

I liked all the cool toys and gadgets on this thing...
wonder if I'd like it at home - or would I get sick of it in a minute?

This is me and my buddy Mitchell... he just turned 1!

This is my buddy AJ... He's Amerie's Kuya. He loves spiderman and had a cool spiderman pajama set!

Isn't he cute? A little old for me, but definitely prom-date material!

My first champagne!
(just kidding - it's filled with water!)

Water out of a champagne flute... classy!

Maybe if you put Amoxicillin in a champagne flute, I wouldn't mind taking that stuff!

I've learned from the pro!

I'm with the Band (the Rock Band, that is)

Daddy tries to get creative with his pictures.

Mommy, me, Mitch and Uncle Roy.

Auntie Christina, Uncle Josh, Mommy and Lola right after countdown!

Posing in our pajamas!

Draped in confetti strings!

No more champagne please!

and I'm out... it's 12:01am.

I love Mommy's kisses!

I woke up kinda delirious!

I'm running on fumes!

Auntie Mel and Uncle Norm!

On December 30, I got to meet Uncle Norm and Auntie Mel! After a lot of changed plans, we finally got to meet - they came over to our place and talked and we watched "The Sound of Music" in the background.

Here I am with Auntie Mel and Uncle Norm.
Uncle Norm was really good at making me scrunch my nose... He did a little trick that nobody else could do - Mommy tried to do it and she couldn't even get a giggle out of me!
Auntie Mel was really good with me too! She made me giggle a lot while we were playing peek-a-boo!

Here we are again! Check out my silly daddy in the background!
Mommy says she forgot how great they are with kids until she saw them with me!
If they ever move to the Bay Area, I'd definitely want them to babysit me... we'd probably be up giggling the entire time!

Here we are again with Uncle James... It was time to put me to bed!

Nice to meet you Uncle Norm and Auntie Mel!
Can't wait to see you again in Toronto!

We're praying for you Uncle Pat

You're in our prayers, Uncle Pat!

December 29

Daddy drove us to the mall - I didn't think he would, since he was up so late the night before! Lots of people wanted to tickle me today and as usual, little old ladies wanted to touch me and smile at me... Whenever this happens, Mommy and Daddy say "LOLLA!" (like HOLLA!) LITTLE OLD LADIES LOVE ADDISON!

Later on that night, we went to Grandma's to see all the out-of-town visitors. We didn't expect to come to a party! People were singing in the front room and playing their guitars and the piano. People were rocking the magic mike in the living room!

Grandpa Dennis shows off his vocal range.

Kuya Ison loves me!
By the end of the night, he was saying Addi Addi Addi!
He was showering me with hugs and lots of kisses!

Kissing cousins!

The Canadians have a turn at the mike!

Me and Ate Aisley... she was begging to hold me!
Her Mommy said she could, as long as she was sitting down!

I finally met Grandpa Dennis and he gets a turn with me!

Me with Hot Stuff Auntie Paula!

Cousin Ison and I sitting on the glider.

It was great to see everyone!

Uncle Brian's Birthday/Post-Christmas/Pre-New Year's get-together

On December 28, we had a gathering of friends over at our place. It was Uncle Brian's 30th Birthday and we wanted to celebrate! Everyone had a fun time playing Rock Band until 1:30 in the morning, when the neighbour from downstairs came up and told us to STOP MAKING NOISE! haha! While people weren't playing drums, the guitar or singing, they played with me, or played Catch Phrase, and at the end of the night - they played poker til 6am - just like the old days!

Me with Auntie Kathy and her bunnette in the oven, Uncle Andrew, and a very sleepy Lucas.
It was a little past BOTH our bedtimes!

Me with Uncle Brian and Auntie Ying.

I don't know why these are the only two pictures that were taken, but there were other people here - Uncle Josh, Auntie Christina, Ninong Ray, Uncle Cecil, Auntie La, Aisley, Ison, Ninong JB, Uncle RJ, and Uncle Ray-Ray.

What a great night!

Spent a relaxing day....

On December 27, we spent a relaxing day at home with Lola Syl... She loved to watch me move around and show her my new moves - like the full crawl and three-legged crawl... I showed her some of the old stuff too, like the army crawl and my scoot.
I also showed her how much I love to pull myself up... I'll crawl over to a chair (or bar stool) and pull myself up with one of it's legs.... VERY DANGEROUS.... do not try this at home! (Mommy and Daddy are still trying to figure out where to move my play area... guess the dining room is out of the question!)
