The perfect bow...

Mommy found this bow that doesn't bother me... I don't even notice it's in my hair!

You're growing up so beautifully.
Though I won't be there on your
first birthday, today, I shall be
celebrating with you in spirit
Addi.

Here's the last stanza of Ruth
Hamilton's poem, Babies Don't Keep:

The cleaning and scrubbing can
wait till tomorrow
But children grow up as I've
learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs;
Dust go to sleep!

I'm rocking my baby and
babies don't keep.
